BRL 과제 선정 (Basic Research Lab, 기초연구실)^^

Such a good news. uFNM (Prof. T. Kim) was awarded the BRL program grant from National Research Foundation from 06.01.2017 - 02.28.2020. This project will be performed together with Prof G. Kim @ UNIST and J. Lee and J. Park @ Sogang Univ. and its total budget is about 13.4 Billion KRW for 3 years. Our objective is to understand the fundamental mechanisms of signal transmission cut-off in neurons at low temperatures, and further develop an effective & safe cryoanesthesia technology.

A review article entitled Unconventional Micro-/Nanofabrication Technologies for Hybrid-scale Lab-on-a-Chip" written by Dogyeong Ha1, Jisoo Hong1, Heungjoo Shin1*, and Taesung Kim1* was accepted in its form (as revised). 

Novel, unconventional micro-/nanofabrication technologies make it possible to fabricate various hybrid-scale lab-on-a-chip devices in efficient, convenient, and high-throughput manners.    

Another paper will appear soon in Scientific Reports!

A collaborative paper entitled "Directional Reflective Surface Formed via Gradient-Impeding Acoustic Meta-Surfaces" with Dr. Kyungjun Song at KIMM will appear soon in Scientific Reports.

Such a nice collaboration to expand our research scope.
